I carry a door on my back fifteen miles from the ocean to the Museum of Modern Art. Others join and walk with me. In the space, I change the door into a window. Without words, I ask the assembled to intone at the sound of a Dorje bell. Their voices open the window, and I see the void. It is held over me by someone who is willing. The void is impossible and everything. I hold the void over her. Together we cover the void and close it. Privately, I wash her feet in thanks, and in acknowledgment of what we have seen together, and done.
